MOTORBIKES 
During this trip, you ride on the Enfield Classic 350 cc motorcycle. This is a ‘European’ type engine with the gear shift on the left side of the engine and an electric starter. 

DIFFICULTY AND OFFROAD 
This is not a particularly difficult trip. You are not travelling at a great height, and the days’ distances are not too long. The main roads are paved, but they are often in very poor condition. Many day trips will go on very bad dirt roads. This can be challenging and difficult after rainfall. 

ACCOMMODATION 
The majority of the accommodation will be in relatively good hotels, but in small villages, the accommodation is of a lesser quality.  

CLIMATE 
Early spring is the best time of the year to make this trip. It is not too hot and it rains less. In addition, there are many festivals in this area in February. 

CLOTHING 
The following items are mandatory: helmet, motorcycle jacket with protection, gloves, a good hard wearing (motorcycle) trousers with protection or separate knee protection and solid high (mountain) boots. Due to extreme hot weather, we recommend a summer motorcycle jacket with protection. In colder areas in the mountains, you can wear extra clothing under your jacket if necessary. Furthermore, good sunglasses and a helmet with a visor that protects against dust are useful.

VISA 
A visa requirement applies to India. You can request this online and you will then be stamped in your passport upon arrival.
