"A special journey from the North to the South of Vietnam, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city, I made this trip together with the support of Mr Hoa the local tour guide, translator and mechanic. Hoa has been very helpful and knows the area, the roads, the language, customs, and culture. A great travel companion. We visited scenic areas, national parks and ancient cities.  We often drove on small roads and only took the mainroad if necessary. The first home-stay in Mai Chau, with a view of the rice fields was a great experience. We drove along fields with coffee cherries, bushes with pepper, tobacco, fruit trees, cashew nuts, small villages, and always waiving local people. The border with Laos and Cambodia is mountainous. From Huë to Hoi An we followed the coast. At Ke Bang National a primeval forest local rangers showed us around.  Marco and Kerstin at the office in Amsterdam realised this tailor made trip."
