Philippines Magic Mountains

The landscape of the island of Luzon is one of extremes. In the mountainous north lie the world-famous Banaue rice terraces, which, like Vigan, are on the World Heritage List. The highest mountain in Luzon is Mount Pulag, which at 2922 meters is slightly lower than the highest mountain in the Philippines, Mount Apo. In addition to the mountains, however, the island also has vast plains, where many agricultural products of the Philippines come from.

This motorcycle tour mainly goes through the rugged mountains of Northern Luzon. In addition to impressive views, you will ride many curves. The days of stay are also varied. For example, we stay a few times on the coast with a stay on the beach, We stay in the burst of Banaua with an impressive view over the rice terraces. We also stay one night in the center of Vigan, which is a beautiful place with its Spanish colonial buildings. 

The motorcycle route is mostly on the road with sometimes a few days of unpaved parts. However, the paved roads in the mountains are sometimes covered in mud after a long rain shower or a typhoon that often occurs here from August to November.
